Our workshops

These work spaces allow high school students to express their emotions, understand the impact of digital on their well-being, and develop their critical thinking. Because solid mental health, it's also learned. And it changes everything!

Workshop 1 - Developing my critical mind

Developing my critical mind "Learn to discern, debate and build my mind"

Faced with the over-information and polarization of debates, young people need tools to understand the world without feeling overwhelmed. Being able to analyze one source, defend one opinion and respect others' is a key competence of the 21st century. It is also a fundamental basis for choosing a profession or a commitment that has meaning, in accordance with its values.

Place: Theatre room or modular space if possible

Objectives

  • Develop a critical mindset in the face of digital overinformation.

  • Be able to build and defend an reasoned opinion.

  • Learn to debate with respect and benevolence.

Methodology

  • Immersive role play: students play different roles (citizens, influencers, journalists, scientists, etc.).

  • Situation: debates, confrontations, arguments.

  • Collective debrief: feedback on emotions, cognitive biases, difficulties encountered.

Understanding the impact of digital on my mental health

Today, teenagers spend several hours a day on screens, often without hindsight on what they absorb. This overexposure strongly influences their mood, self-esteem and worldview. Talking about emotions in this context allows you to get to know each other better, to take a step back, and to regain an essential balance before making choices of life and orientation.

Place: In class

Objectives

  • Awareness of the impact of social networks on mental health.
  • Identify the emotions generated by digital overexposure (stress, comparison, anxiety...).
  • Free speech with creative tools.

Methodology

  • Group work around key themes: time loss, idealization, information overload...
  • Collective return: One spokesperson per group shares the thoughts and proposals.
  • Opening of the session with a questionnaire, to be completed at home, on the emotions felt during this workshop.

Reconnecting to Life "Leave, feel, anchor in the real to act"

In an increasingly digital and anxious world, reconnection to nature and to oneself becomes a necessity. Finding a form of calm, living sensitivity and confidence in the future helps young people clarify what they want to embody. This is a first step towards professional projects with positive impact, aligned with their deep aspirations. Location : Outside, near the establishment (park, forest, urban farm...)

In collaboration with a committed local association

Objectives

  • Find a connection to living, self and others.

  • Understanding the links between lifestyle, health and environment.

  • Identify local engagement paths.

Methodology

  • Sensory immersion in nature: listening, observing, breathing.

  • Collective activities: land art, exchanges in pairs, conscious walking.

  • Brief on the role of collective intelligence and the possibilities of acting together.

  • A summary digital booklet with resources and concrete action keys is sent to each student at the end of the last workshop.

They testify

My students were immediately captivated by the encounter with Guillaume and Jérémy, true explorers of modern times. Thanks to their visits before and after the expedition, and the almost real-time follow-up of their journey, the children felt fully involved in the adventure. They discovered the resilience, effort and importance of preparation, making parallels with their own daily lives. A rich, memorable experience that will serve them all their lives!

The lectures of Earth Care Movement marked our students: they understood the importance of discernment, to regain control of their time and the dangers of social networks. Convinced of the positive impact of this project, we wish to continue it and expand it to other classes as soon as we return.
