Earth Care Movement was born in April 2023 on the initiative of two nurses and eco-adventurers, Guillaume Bechecloux and Jérémy Labouré. Based in Annecy, at the end of 2024 a dozen volunteers active in various fields: training, communication, project coordination, etc.
Our approach focuses on the individual to drive collective change. Where ecology divides, we gather around a universal language: health.
Starting from the mental and physical well-being of everyone, we open the way to collective awareness, to build a more sustainable future. Because an aligned individual is a citizen willing to act!
Our health is directly threatened by the degradation of our environment
The consequences of climate change are no longer abstract: they affect our health today. The rise in temperatures, air pollution, water quality, soil degradation and loss of biodiversity lead to a rise in chronic and acute diseases.
According to The Lancet, the economic losses associated with climate change amount to €210 billion per year. But beyond the figures, it is our bodies and minds that suffer: respiratory disorders, dermatological diseases, anxiety disorders, dehydration, allergies, cancers... Health has become a sensitive indicator of the environmental crisis.
How (re)connect individuals to their power to act in the face of environmental and societal challenges?
Earth Care Movement was born from this everyday reality in hospitals. Our conviction: prevention and education are the most powerful tools to limit future impacts.
We have chosen to intervene today with younger generations, in schools and in public spaces, to awaken awareness and create a link between health, environment and society.
